The institute began with only three branches namely: Production Engg., Environmental Engg., Electronics Engg.

The college is affiliated to the Shivaji University Kolhapur.

It has also attained recognition from A.I.C.T.E (All India Council For Technical Education), New Delhi.

The college offers several courses under the broad heading of subjects namely:

General Engineering

The college provides Library facility to its students, empowered with books, periodicals and journals that are updated regularly.

The college participates in several zonal and inter-zonal events every year under the banner of Shivaji University, Kolhapur.

The college has also participated and won the Inter-College Magazine Competition of Shivaji University.

The college also has a Computer Club, for the all round development of the students.

Students participates in many cultural and sports events, organized by Society for Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Amongst Youth (SPIC-MACAY), Indian Society for Technical Education (I.S.T.E.), National Service Scheme (NSS) and Engineers Defense Academy (EDA).
